Help with Supercell Store purchases

“We are currently unable to process your transaction through this payment method. Please try again with a different method of payment."

If you see this error when trying to pay, it can be caused by any of the below reasons:

  • Credit/Debit card details were entered incorrectly
  • The card is no longer valid
  • There are insufficient funds on the card
  • The card does not support 3D Secure(*)

(*) 3D Secure is a security protocol that requires you to verify yourself with e.g. a one-time password or a mobile banking app after entering your card details. Check with your card issuer or bank whether 3D Security is supported. Alternatively, you could try paying with PayPal or Sofort instead.

Can I buy without a Credit Card?

The payment methods available to you at check-out depend on your region. As an example, the below payment methods can be used without a Credit Card:

  • PayPal
  • Sofort

PayPal

PayPal allows you to pay via a direct bank transfer or by using your PayPal balance. Read more at the PayPal Help Center.

Sofort

Sofort (also known as Klarna) allows you to do a direct bank transfer to pay for your purchase. Read more about Sofort here.

I got charged for the purchase, but something's wrong. What should I do?

Don't worry, we can always help.

First, find your receipt in the Supercell Store:

  1. Tap the three-line icon (sometimes called the hamburger menu) top-right of the screen.
  2. Choose "Log in" and enter the email of the Supercell ID with which you made the purchase.
  3. Once logged in, tap on the person icon in the top-left of the screen.
  4. Tap "Account".
  5. Scroll down to find your receipts.
  6. Snap a picture of the receipt of the purchase that you didn't receive.

Then, tap the "Contact us" button for example in this help article, and prepare to present the receipt when asked to do so.

I didn’t receive my purchase!

Make sure you are logged in to Clash of Clans with the same Supercell ID with which you made the purchase in the Supercell Store.

Then, make sure you have tried activating the Gold Pass inside of Clash of Clans:

  1. Open the Village related to the Supercell ID with which you made the purchase
  2. Tap on the Season Challenges button
  3. Tap “Get Gold Pass”
  4. Now tap “Get”.

If you don’t see the “Get” button, contact Support with your purchase receipt.
